Italy Day 8: Today we explored Pompeii with a local guide who had been raised on the archeological site. We joined thousands of tourists from all over the world to learn about life in ancient times. After lunch, we took a tour of the Amalfi Coast from Salerno to Sorrento with lovely stops in between. Peter was delighted not be driving this spectacular, hair-raising coastline.
