Italy Day 25- Our goal was to explore Milan’s Centro and then head toward Nice where the weather outlook was better. We climbed to the terraces of the Milan Duomo, and walking amongst the tall marble spires was thrilling. Then we toured the Duomo and surrounding areas. The weather in Northern Italy and Switzerland, where we had planned to go, was not looking so good. So, we asked ourselves, “What would Laura Hines do?” Head to Nice of course and Voila! We arrived to sunny and warm skies in Côte d’Azur, aka the French Riviera.
