Italy Day 10: Rome was cloudy this morning when we traveled to the Colosseum and had a tour with a local expect. We also explored the nearby temples, Roman Forum and Campidoglio. We were amazed by the surviving structures. This afternoon we adventured out on our own to the Catacombs of Priscilla (sorry not photos permitted) using the local bus. These were catacombs from 200 AD that were kept secret and only found by accident. The surviving frescos in the catacombs were beautiful.
