Italy Day 16- It was a glorious day yesterday when we toured Florence with a local guide starting with Galleria dell’ Accademia to see David, then on to a walking tour that included the Palazzo Medici, the Duomo and Piazza Della Signoria. Then we went off on our own to climb the Duomo, explore the Piazza Mercato Centrale, Ponte Vecchio, and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Far too much here to do in one day!
