Today was a travel day. We left Port Douglas traveled by motor coach to the Cairns Airport, enjoying the beautiful coastal views all the way south, which is about an hour or so. We boarded our flight for Sydney, which took about three hours.  It seems all flights in Australia are about three hours.

We transferred to our hotel in downtown near the harbor and got some take away dinner with our group. After dinner we went exploring and found the convention center right near the port. There were groups of young people synchronized dancing using the mirrored windows of the convention center to see themselves while making Tic Tok videos. Some of them were excellent! 

We enjoyed the night views of harbor with the Christmas lights.
