Italy Day 28- We took the Nice to Monaco local bus this morning and enjoyed the view as we traveled east on this amazing coast. After exploring the Palace Square without tourists, we made a visit to the Cathedral of Monaco and the lovely Jardin Bontanique. Then back to the Palace Square to see the Changing of the Guard ceremony. The Monaco Grand Prix is in May and preparation is well underway. We skirted the workers assembling the grandstands in Monte-Carlo, and walked along the port showcasing mega-yachts. Then we checked out the Casino, the Church of St. Charles and snacked on gelato before returning to Nice to enjoy dinner and take one last walk on the beach.
