Day 16, April 17th: We took our rented car on the ferry from Messina to Calabria and then drove up to Naples. When we got to Naples there were blue and white streamers on many of the homes and buildings. The night we were there was a huge soccer match between Naples and Milan and the stadium was close to our hotel. It was the third match and the teams were tied with one win each before Naples lost.
